| In case you didn't know, we are married now...Mr. and Mrs. Slaubaugh! Married life is very nice - trying at times - but very nice. The one thing that is hardest for me is being at home - just me and the cat - while Joe is at work. My motivation to do things around the apartment (laudry, cleaning, cooking, playing with the cat, decorating, packing, writing thank you's, balancing the checkbooks, etc.) fluctuates. It is so rewarding to have Joe come home, and share our evenings together. We have an apartment! Oh my, if I could only describe what an adventure (a.k.a. battle) that was! We will be moving on the 27th...one week...and we just found out today that the guy is willing to rent it to us. We started this process two weeks ago.  However, we are grateful that it finally worked out because we are now the proud renters of a 2 bedroom, 1 bath, 3rd floor apartement, with a spacious kitchen, a balcony, and a dining room area for our large kitchen table. Yay! You can pray that moving goes well next Saturday and that we will get along with our up-till-now picky landlord. That is all I have to update on for now. God is still good. Love,

| So I'm sitting at home, without a whole lot to do. I mean, there is still a lot to be done, but that stuff doesn't happen until tomorrow or Saturday. So for now...there isn't a lot for me to do. The three main things I need to finish before THE BIG DAY are: 1. Get mom's recipes copied so Joe and I don't starve on our honeymoon, or go in debt for eating out every meal for an entire week. :o) 2. PACK! I started, mind you, I just haven't finished. Some stuff is still in the dryer. 3. Finish any thank-you cards/gifts for people who have been extremely helpful during the process of our wedding planning. Things have come together a lot more smoothly than I expected. A few mountains (mole hills) did come along, but we've had the faith of a mustard seed, and those mountains have been removed. The only thing that went wrong that I can't fix...the wedding date is wrong on our programs. :o( It reads "August 28, 2008". I must have made a typ-o, and the "8" looks enough like a "3" that I didn't catch it. For anyone who finds this blooper: WE ARE GETTING MARRIED ON AUGUST 23rd!!! (That's in 2 days!) Therefore, I will type to you all after I return from my...I mean OUR...honeymoon. :o) Love,
